Half-way to St. Pat's
September 17, 2009
Keltricity entertained Louisville’s Ancient Order of Hibernians as they gathered at O’Shea’s to celebrate the fact there are only six months left until St. Patrick’s Day is upon us again!
The Ancient Order of Hibernians brought their chaplain to bless a keg of BBC’s (Bluegrass Brewing Company) spectacular "Big Fella" special stout, which has been aging 365 days in 23-year- old bourbon barrels. The beer is named for Michael Collins, Ireland’s legendary patriot and freedom fighter. O'Shea's chef provided some delectable Irish themed dishes made with the Big Fella beer. Bagpipers preceded a toast and then it was up to Keltricity to entertain the crowd into the night. A lot of craic was had by all! Proceeds will help fund the annual St. Patrick's Day parade sponsored by the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
