About Keltricity

In early 2009, Henry Austin (guitar and vocals), Laurel Fuson (accordion), Valerie Young (keyboard and vocals) and Joe Burch (mandolin) formed as Keltricity. Pam Wingate (vocals, pennywhistle, percussion) joined the group in the summer. All had been in bands of various musical genres but decided to steer the course of Keltricity to be more inclusive of the Celtic music world. The band features music from Ireland, Cape Breton, Scotland and French Canada, as well as versions of newer Celtic music along with the traditional.

Immediately following the formation of the group Keltricity was asked to play some of areas most prominent Irish and Celtic festivals. From the positive response Keltricity knew they had a sound that clicked with their audience. With outstanding vocals and harmonies, along with varied instrumentation, Keltricity continues to offer up musical surprises both in arrangements and selection of songs and tunes.

It doesn't just stop with pleasing the audience though. Keltricity also takes into consideration needs of the venue and can provide a complete state-of-the-art Bose® sound system that is compact enough to suit small spaces while projecting a sound big enough to fill large halls.
